DGMK-Project Production Engineering
Turquoise hydrogen - uses of solid carbon in textile products and processes
Duration
01.04. - 31.07.2022
Research Center
Texulting GmbH, Hohenstein-Ernstthal - Prof. Markus Michael, Dr. Franziska Lehmann
Project Accompaniment
DGMK e.V. - Dr. Gesa Netzeband
Reason and Goal
The aim of the study is to develop principled approaches for the application and use of solid carbon in the textile industry.
Summary
The existing solutions for the production of turquoise hydrogen have not yet been investigated or developed in sufficient detail. In order to replace these isolated solutions with sustainable economic and ecological concepts/systems, approaches must be developed in the textile industry, among others. This offers the potential for applications suitable for series production and mass production.
Status
The project has been completed.
