2Retired members become members upon reaching the age of 65 or, in the case of early retirement, upon application. The contribution is reassessed in the calendar year following retirement. Please send us the necessary proof.

3Student members are members during their studies or training until their final exams, but at most until they reach the age of 30. The membership fee is reassessed in the calendar year following the final examination. Please send us the necessary proof. 

4According to the European Union's definition, the category of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) includes companies with fewer than 250 employees that either have an annual turnover of no more than EUR 50 million or an annual balance sheet total of no more than EUR 43 million (in accordance with Art. 2 (1) of Annex 1 to Regulation (EU) 651/2014, see user guide to the definition of SMEs).
