History of the DGMK
The beginnings of the DGMK go back to the year 1933.
We support the research and development of advanced technologies for the sustainable use of the deep subsurface. These include exploration & production of hydrocarbons and REE & lithium, for storage of natural gas and hydrogen, and for geothermal energy. Our partners include E&P companies, storage operators, service companies, universities and research institutions.

Aktuell gehen wir die ganz große Aufgabe an, das Erdöl und andere fossile Kohlenstoffträger in der Petrochemie zu reduzieren und langfristig vollständig zu ersetzen. Es gibt viele Wege oder Bausteine, um dieses Ziel zu erreichen, wie z.B. der Einsatz von erneuerbaren Rohstoffen und die Entwicklung von recyclefähigen Kunststoffen.
