DGMK Accident Statistics of the Mineral Oil Industry

Since the early 1970s, the DGMK has kept annual accident statistics for the refinery sector. The aim of the statistics is to compare accident figures nationally and internationally, as well as with other industries. Since the end of the 1990s, data have also been collected for the partner companies used for technical services.

Data retrieval at refinery sites will follow OSHA 300. Trends in commuting accidents will also be examined and benchmarking will be documented for national and international comparison.

Die Statistik wurde fortgeschrieben: Für das Jahr 2024 liegt die Unfallhäufigkeit (Unfälle mit Ausfallzeit ≥ 1 Arbeitstag) für eigene Mitarbeiter bei 1,0 und bei 1,1 bei den Partnerfirmen. Die Statistik wurde weiterentwickelt und um die Potenzialeinstufung SIF (Serious Incidents and Fatalities)/Non SIF sowie Einstufung nach Life Saving Rules (IOGP) ergänzt. Die Mitglieder tauschen sich im DGMK-Fachausschuss Arbeitssicherheit zu Vorfällen aus, um geeignete Maßnahmen und Learnings zu teilen. Die Datensammlung für das Berichtsjahr 2025 läuft.
