Technical Committee
Reservoir engineering covers the underground aspects of optimal field production and is thus decisive for the economic viability of an asset. This includes the determination of recoverable volumes, the preparation of field development concepts and production plans, as well as their constant adjustment and optimization during ongoing production.
Innovations for improved exploitation and technical measures for efficient production are the focus of our research.
A comprehensive series of DGMK research reports already exists on the topics IOR (Improved Oil Recovery) and EOR (Enhanced Oil Recovery). Further research focuses are the development of tight gas reservoirs and the improvement of reservoir models.
