Technical Committee
The planning and execution of deep drilling is a complex process involving numerous geological and technical parameters. Depending on the intended use of the well, for example as an exploration or production well, different drilling tools, fluids, cements and casing are used.
The subject of research and development are mainly technical issues and process optimizations. Exemplary topics from DGMK research are the increase of drilling progress, the minimization of carrier damage by drilling fluids and their materials as well as the suitability of downhole cements under different conditions.
The Drilling and Completion Technology Expert Committee is joined by the Working Group Drilling Fluids is assigned to the Technical Committee for Drilling Technology.
