The She Drives Energy - Study Award was established to recognize special achievements of young women. In doing so, we encourage contributions to the sustainable development of the energy industry.
Conditions of participation
Participation is open to She Drives Energy members. Membership in She Drives Energy is free of charge. You can join here log in.
We look forward to receiving theses in the scientific/technical field; the grading process must be completed by 2025. Both bachelor’s and master’s theses may be submitted. A jury composed of members of the network from industry and research will evaluate the submitted theses.
Application documents
Interested parties can send their application, including the complete thesis and an explanation of how the thesis relates to the award, as a PDF file in German or English to shedrivesenergy@dgmk.de.
The application deadline is January 28, 2026.
Award ceremony
The prize is worth 500 €. The award ceremony will take place during the 2026 DGMK/ÖGEW Spring Conference. A time slot will also be set aside for the winner to give a brief presentation on her work.
