Summary
DGMK Study 887, „Scientific Study on the National and International State of the Art in CO2 Storage and Pipeline Transport,“ published in 2025 and prepared by Clausthal University of Technology, will be updated in 2026. The update will take into account changes in the legal framework, further experience with the planning and implementation of CCS in Europe, and additional monitoring methods.
Status
The updated study is scheduled to be released in late November 2026.
