DGMK-Project Automotive Fuels
Criteria Catalogue for Additives in Diesel Fuel (Lubricity and Cold-Flow Additives) for Refinery Use
In project 787-1, DGMK research report 787 will be supplemented and specified according to the latest experiences.
In refineries, lubricity additives and MDFI / WASA / WAFI additives are used in the
diesel fuel to meet the requirements of DIN EN 590 with regard to
lubricity and cold properties. To check these
additives and to avoid undesirable side effects in diesel fuel there is
a catalogue of criteria coordinated by the mineral oil and additives industry, which was published in 2017 as
DGMK Research Report 787. In the meantime a need for revision has arisen with regard to the test criteria.
- Mixing Conditions for MDFI / WASA Additives
- Emulsifiability
- Interactions of MDFI / WASA with Lubricity Additives
- Interactions with Performance Additives
