This report provides informations on first aid measures, medical teoxicology data and professional advice to clinicians on petroleum products.

Precautions are described for the protection of rescue and emergency personnel.

Petroleum products and their synonyms are given, together with a brief technical description as well as comments on the flammability and health aspects. Appropriate advice is given relating to accidental contact with these products.
Specific advice to doctors on the treatment and care of casualties is also given.
