Composition of Fuel Oils in 2025

Data on the composition of fuel oils were last published by the DGMK in 2005. Following a proposal by the DGMK Committee on Analytics, the new edition was released. Twelve samples of EL fuel oil from delivery points of German and Austrian refinery operators, as well as two imported samples, were analyzed. In addition, two paraffinic fuel oils were evaluated. Chemical and physical parameters of interest from an application-oriented perspective or in terms of environmental criteria were investigated.
