On May 27, the 7th meeting of the DGMK working group "Energy Storage" hybrid took place in Hamburg at the DGMK.
On site, Ralf Meyer gave a historical review of the early gas storage activities of the Reitbrook oil company and their geological features. At the subsequent networking lunch, the participants were able to continue their discussions.
The DGMK working group "Energy Storage", founded in 2023, is headed by Dr. Benjamin Keßler and deals with approvals and technical upgrading for the conversion of existing gas storage facilities into H2 storage facilities.
