On March 20, the DGMK working group "Drilling Fluids and Cements" met in Clausthal-Zellerfeld. The 24th working group meeting was organized by the Clausthal University of Technology on Institute of Subsurface Energy Systems aligned.
Exciting presentations from industry and research were held at H2 storage, lost circulation technologies, innovations for P&A activities and, of course, drilling fluids - pre-use screening options and microbiological aspects. The meeting was again well attended and provided room for a lively exchange between the members.
The working group, led by Oliver Czuprat, has been meeting twice a year for 12 years now to exchange technical information.
