DGMK/ÖGEW Spring Conference 2025 - Subsurface Innovations and Insights - guarantors for a sustainable energy landscape

DGMK/ÖGEW spring conference goes on tour! 2025, we look forward to a lively exchange in Papenburg. Be there when science and industry meet, our experts report and exhibitors present their innovations live. 

We will inform you about the acceptance of your contribution around mid-February 2025.

We kindly ask the speakers to submit an extended abstract for publication in the conference proceedings by March 31, 2025. There are no restrictions on the length of the extended abstract. Illustrations, color and black and white, are permitted. Speakers will receive further information and a Word template from us by e-mail.

Please note that the presenter (oral and poster) must also pay the participation fee.

Poster Award

The DGMK Deutsche Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für nachhaltige Energieträger, Mobilität und Kohlenstoffkreläufe e.V. will once again be awarding the poster prize in 2025. The poster session will take place on May 07, 2025.

The winner of the poster award will receive a free membership in the DGMK for one year and a prize money of EUR 250.

Tour of the Meyer shipyard

Premium bus tour
Discover exclusive areas of the otherwise inaccessible shipyard site. Observe the work at one of the world's most modern shipyards from a completely new perspective. The bus tour takes you directly between the huge shipyard halls and docks, past ship blocks weighing up to 800 tons.

Tour of the EWE UT gas storage facility in Jemgum

EWE GASSPEICHER GmbH "Security of supply, system stability and storage of renewable energies through flexible cavern storage"
The cavern storage facility in Jemgum is one of the most modern and flexible storage facilities in Europe, which is operated in a fully automated and highly flexible manner on four transmission grids in the German and Dutch market area.
The storage facility has been in operation with eight caverns since 2013 and, with its expansion reserves, is well equipped for the energy system of the future.

The amount is payable within 14 days without deduction after receipt of the invoice.

In addition to attending the conference, the participation fees include the digital conference report with the author manuscripts of the lectures and poster presentations available from the conference office as well as participation in the welcome evening, drinks during breaks and snacks.

After registration you will receive an invoice for the conference fee to be paid. Please do not make any advance payments.

If registration is canceled by 12.03.2025, the DGMK will refund any fees already paid less a processing fee of EUR 30.00. After 12.03.2025, the full conference fee must be invoiced.

A processing fee of EUR 50.00 will be charged for reregistrations of participants.
