Our practical 2-day course in Kassel clearly conveys the basics of deep geothermal energy and demonstrates its importance for heat supply. The course focuses on technical and geological fundamentals. You will also gain an insight into relevant commercial, legal and communication aspects.

This course is primarily aimed at decision-makers and practitioners from heat suppliers, authorities and geothermal companies. A technical or scientific background is helpful, but not a prerequisite.

Course format

The two-day training session will be conducted in German. The course is designed to be practice-oriented, with the aim of teaching key aspects of deep geothermal energy and explaining their relevance to heat supply.

Cancellation conditions 

If registration is canceled by April 9, 2026, the DGMK will refund any fees already paid, minus a processing fee of EUR 100.00. Starting April 10, 2026, the full fee must be paid. 

A processing fee of EUR 50.00 will be charged for reregistrations of participants.

If this training course has to be canceled by the organizer, any fees already paid will be refunded. No other claims will arise.
