Our practical 2-day course in Kassel clearly conveys the basics of deep geothermal energy and demonstrates its importance for heat supply. The course focuses on technical and geological fundamentals. You will also gain an insight into relevant commercial, legal and communication aspects.

This course is primarily aimed at decision-makers and practitioners from heat suppliers, authorities and geothermal companies. A technical or scientific background is helpful, but not a prerequisite.

Course format

The two-day training course is held in German. The course is designed to be practice-oriented in order to convey key aspects of deep geothermal energy and explain them in the context of their relevance for heat supply

Cancellation conditions 

If the registration is canceled by 14.11.2025, the DGMK will refund any fees already paid minus a processing fee of EUR 100.00. From 15.11.2025, the full fee must be paid. 

A processing fee of EUR 50.00 will be charged for reregistrations of participants.

If this training course has to be canceled by the organizer, any fees already paid will be refunded. No other claims will arise.
