BMWK funding
The AiF - German Federation of Industrial Research Associations is an industry-supported innovation network for the promotion of research, transfer and innovation in small and medium-sized enterprises. As a member of the AiF, the DGMK forms a platform for the organisation of pre-competitive projects of the Industrielle Gemeinschaftsforschung (IGF). Several hundred honorary reviewers evaluate the funding applications. Companies accompany the research work and thus ensure its practical relevance. IGF-projects are implemented via the AiF funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection and are available to all interested companies.
In 2021, the DGMK's Processing and Application Division acquired grants from the BMWK amounting to more than 1.6 million euros as part of the IGF competition.
In the downstream area, we coordinate around 30 research projects per year. In joint research, we link refineries, pipeline operators, petrochemical companies, manufacturers of vehicle engines, drive technology, heating technology, suppliers, process technology, tools and development service providers with the research institutions.
The topics for the project work arise from the day-to-day business of the member companies and from the dialogue between industry and science. Project ideas are welcome. Please contact us! The decision on the implementation of projects is the responsibility of the relevant technical committee.
