Applying for Research Funds

The preferably project outline in englishthat have a a scope of 10 pages. preferably not exceeding, may be submitted informally to the head of the department. The following points should be included:

  • Description of the Project Proposal,
  • Methodological Approach,
  • Schedule,
  • Cost Plan or Cost Estimate of the Expected Material and Personnel Expenses.

We distribute the project outline to our network of potential sponsors. As a rule, we can give feedback within a few weeks on whether the companies are generally interested in the project. As soon as two or more companies are interested, we invite them to a non-binding meeting at which the applicants have the opportunity to present their project and discuss it with industry experts. During this meeting it will be decided whether a revision of the project objectives and the submission of a detailed project proposal is necessary.

Following this meeting, we are trying to obtain a binding commitment from the companies to finance the project. As soon as the necessary number of sponsors for the project has been found, we will take care of the contracts with the research institutes and organize a kick-off meeting. We regularly collect the project funds from the sponsors and pass them on to the research institutes in full, usually on a quarterly basis.

Our employees in the office are happy to answer any questions you may have.
