We pursue an open concept when applying for and funding projects. Universities, research institutes as well as the companies themselves can approach us with project ideas at any time.

Applying for Research Funds
The preferably project outline in englishthat have a a scope of 10 pages. preferably not exceeding, may be submitted informally to the head of the department. The following points should be included:
- Description of the Project Proposal,
- Methodological Approach,
- Schedule,
- Cost Plan or Cost Estimate of the Expected Material and Personnel Expenses.
We distribute the project outline to our network of potential sponsors. As a rule, we can give feedback within a few weeks on whether the companies are generally interested in the project. As soon as two or more companies are interested, we invite them to a non-binding meeting at which the applicants have the opportunity to present their project and discuss it with industry experts. During this meeting it will be decided whether a revision of the project objectives and the submission of a detailed project proposal is necessary.
Following this meeting, we are trying to obtain a binding commitment from the companies to finance the project. As soon as the necessary number of sponsors for the project has been found, we will take care of the contracts with the research institutes and organize a kick-off meeting. We regularly collect the project funds from the sponsors and pass them on to the research institutes in full, usually on a quarterly basis.
Our employees in the office are happy to answer any questions you may have.
Project funding in the field of geo-energy systems and underground technology is provided by companies in the energy sector active in German-speaking countries. We also check the availability of public research funds (e.g. BMWi, DLR), provide support in applying for and implementing publicly funded research projects and take on coordination tasks in ongoing projects. The basic prerequisite for our commitment is cooperation between science and practice in accordance with our definition of joint research.
We accompany our research projects through all project phases: acquisition of research funds, contractual matters, regular status meetings, reporting, release of publications and publication of the research report. We are supported by experts from industry who accompany our research projects on a voluntary basis. The tasks of project support are in particular the regular evaluation of the project results, the establishment of a link to practice, the transfer of industry know-how, information and data to the research institutes and the communication of the research and development results within the company.
