We pursue an open concept when applying for and promoting projects. Universities, research institutes and also E&P companies themselves can approach us with project ideas at any time.
There are currently no calls for proposals on specific technical topics. However, we always accept project proposals on our general focus topics:
- Drilling Technology
- Petroleum Engineering
- Oil and Gas Production Technology
- Environmental Protection
Applying for Research Funds
In the first step a project outline in english is required, which should not exceed a scope of 10 pages. The following points should be included:
- Description of the Project Proposal,
- Methodological Approach,
- Cost Plan or Cost Estimate of the Expected Material and Personnel Expenses.
We distribute the project outline to our network of potential sponsors. As a rule, we can give feedback within a few weeks as to whether the companies are generally interested in the project. As soon as three or more companies are interested, we invite them to a non-binding meeting where the applicants have the opportunity to present their project and discuss it with experts from the industry. During this meeting it will be decided whether a revision of the project objectives and the submission of a detailed project application is necessary.
Following this meeting, we are trying to obtain a binding commitment from the companies to finance the project. As soon as the necessary number of sponsors for the project has been found, we will take care of the contracts with the research institutes and organize a kick-off meeting. We regularly collect the project funds from the sponsors and pass them on to the research institutes in full, usually on a quarterly basis.
Our employees in the office are happy to answer any questions you may have.
