The production and storage of hydrocarbons in Germany has long set international standards in terms of environmental compatibility and safety. To ensure that this remains the case, a continuous exchange between experts on these topics is necessary. Research and development makes an additional contribution to making processes more energy-efficient, for example, or to making the operation of plants even safer.
In the DGMK Department of Exploration and Production, the subject of environmental protection and occupational safety is part of the fixed programme of the annual spring conference and has already been taken up in projects.
