The DGMK DGMK German Society for Sustainable Energy Carriers, Mobility and Carbon Cycles e.V. is a non-profit association based in Hamburg that supports a network of experts from industry and research and is actively involved in the development of the energy sector. The DGMK offers a neutral platform for the scientific exchange of technical experience between science and practice.
We are looking for the DGMK office in Hamburg at the earliest possible date for a
Research Assistant (m/f/d) part-time (20-25 hours)
The position is assigned to the DGMK Department of Geo-Energy Systems and Underground Technologies. This deals with the intelligent use of the deep underground, i.e. the production of crude oil and natural gas, the sustainable use of natural gas and hydrogen storage facilities, geothermal energy for local heat supply and the extraction of metals that are in high demand worldwide, such as rare earths and lithium.
The position is limited to 24 months.
YOUR TASKS:
- Administrative management and moderation of technical working groups and task forces
- Active participation in committee meetings of professional associations at national level
- Communication with industry, research institutions, authorities and associations
- Project management of industry and publicly funded research projects
- Support in the conception and implementation of events (workshops and conferences)
REQUIREMENTS:
- A university degree in a technical or scientific field
- Several years of professional experience in the subsurface industry or related fields is desirable
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Communication skills and ability to cooperate
- Goal-oriented, careful and structured way of working (independently)
- Willingness to travel regularly
