The DGMK/ÖGEW Frühjahrstagung is the annual gathering of the geo energy and subsurface technology industry in Germany. Approximately 600 experts and executives from industry, academia, and government agencies come together to discuss current developments, research findings, and practical examples. A high-quality technical program, an accompanying trade exhibition, and a wide range of opportunities for personal exchange make the conference an important platform for knowledge transfer and networking within the industry. The focus is on current developments in geoenergy, underground energy storage, CCS, lithium extraction, as well as digitalization and AI in these fields. In doing so, the conference underscores the idea that many solutions for energy supply will continue to lie “beneath the surface” in the future.
